The Project

To demolish the existing bridge and associated masonry to communal entrance of residential block and build new to structural engineer and surveyor’s specifications.

The Process

The job involved setting up a safe working perimeter, demolishing the existing concrete bridge, side steps and returns of brickwork.

We then formed a new reinforced bridge and stairs as per the specification provided, and tiled to finish. The associated masonry was also renewed and bespoke railings were installed to brickwork.

The Challenge

Being a highly technical job and having such crucial health and safety implications, the challenge was to ensure the work was completed to structural perfection and then finished to the highest standard aesthetically.
